'24 steps' is a deeply personal insight into the glare of impersonal intrigue when a person dies. The faceless crowd staring on, cameras rolling, all documenting the news of the day - omitting the one person who is left standing blind, naked except for a sheer nightgown, bewildered, confused and destroyed. Alone for the first time in 24 years.
Each pair of shoes represents a step between the place of Val's husband, Dave Carpenter, death and where Val witnessed his spirit passing.

One of my classes is called "Introduction to performance", and the teacher asked us to find a performance that follows the line of work we have done. One of my performances was wearing the shoes of another person for seven days, so look for a performance that had shoes, and found yours and have decided to copy it. Even in an academic space, learning, I wonder if you give me permission to copy your performance. and I like to know what you think about it, I hope your answer.
